• Extended childcare program from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Vacation Mini-Camps and Summer Day Camp, as well as many after school enrichment classes, available.

The EVJDS is the Phoenix East Valley Jewish community's day school.

Founded in 1999 by parents with a vision of excellence in Jewish education, the East Valley Jewish Day School provides an outstanding curriculum of Judaic and secular studies and exciting enrichment opportunities. A private, co-educational day school for Kindergarten through 6th grade, the EVJDS welcomes families from all facets of the community.

As a new and growing school, we offer intimate classrooms with close student-teacher ratios and a child-centered approach. Each student is guided and nurtured by talented, creative teachers who develop classroom activities around the strengths and needs of each individual child. The EVJDS fosters individual achievement in each student, as well as pride in their Jewish heritage and a love of learning.

Our talented faculty and staff work together with students and parents to create the close-knit EVJDS family. The EVJDS committee is an energetic and friendly group of committed parents and teachers.

Our facility, designed to meet the academic needs and goals of the day school, is located on the southwest corner of Alma School and Ray Road in Chandler inside the Barness Family JCC.
